Grid holds stepped notes. Draw holds continuous pitch curves. Both can be recorded to tape. Tape is recorded audio. Tape (Space) plays recorded audio only. Tape and Monitor choose what you hear beside the transport controls. Switch to Monitor to turn on all four sequencers. You can then turn each sequencer off independently. Monitor repeats four bars independently of Tape Loop and Stop. Turn each sequencer off to silence its pattern. Play and Pause control the active mode, and only one audio mode plays at a time. Space toggles Play/Pause from the same position. In Tape mode, Stop turns playback off and returns to the first beat. Sequencer off stops its notes and play indicator, even when the track is armed. Recording monitors tape plus every armed instrument. Mute controls listening; armed instruments still record. Sound controls edit the instrument; recorded takes keep their printed sound. Mixer levels, solo and mute control the four matching tracks in Tape and Monitor. Multiple solos can play together; mute takes priority. Tape FX colors both Monitor and Tape playback with low pass, reverb, distortion, Drift (from clean at 0% through pitch wander and grain to heavy tonal loss and dropouts at 100%), and an era character. Era presets are creative interpretations of recording and playback styles. 2026 adds no era coloration. Bypass compares the original mix. Tape FX and mixer settings are included in WAV export and never overwrite your takes.
Music stays in this session and is not automatically saved. Reloading or closing the page starts a fresh project. Export WAV downloads the current tape loop as a stereo master, including the mixer and Tape FX. The WAV keeps the finished audio; it does not save an editable project.
Your current session will be cleared. Export WAV first if you want to keep the audio.
